STOOP DESCRIPTION
Just your classic, post-brunch, park ‘n bark on the front stoop. If you look closely you’ll see that a few of us accidentally wore the same thing (don’t you hate it when that happens?!?) but when you’re this close of pals, it makes sense that you start to morph into one another (not Max though—he never misses an opportunity to peacock). After a few hours we were all going to head our separate ways, but Gambit was having the Sunday Scaries so he asked us to kick it a while longer. So, we ordered takeout, played a few rounds of cards, and then sorta posed like this until someone offered to take our group photo. Not for nothing, but next time someone says that New York has gone to the dogs, maybe picture our little squad and realize that that’s actually a good thing.
BK BAKERY DESCRIPTION
They said six dogs could never open a bakery in Brooklyn's cut-throat Sweets District. But that’s before they realized that, with the right teamwork, all 6 of us could fit into a single chef’s coat (with Millie pulling a Ratatouille at the very top). We always believed that if anyone could master the art of treat-making, it would be dogs—and look at us now: posing for an exposé in Forbes’Top Good Boys Under 9. We’ll leave you with the soundbite the journalist used to close out our feature piece: “Never stop chasing your dreams (or squirrels) (or cats that look like squirrels) (or that piece of trash on the sidewalk blowing in the wind that you thought was a squirrel).”Boneappetite!
PARK PICNIC DESCRIPTION
We may all be smiling here but this entire picnic was a huge disaster. We had a massive miscommunication about who was bringing what and we ended up with like 4 dips and ZERO chips. We’re not pointing any paws at who was supposed to be organizing *cough, Effie* but luckily Millie recently started seeing this new dog she met on fetch dot com, so she invited him and he brought everything we were missing. (No one gets tail like Millie!) We went back and forth forever about what Max should write as the caption for his selfie and he suggested “All beef hot dog ;)” for like the zillionth time; ultimately landing on the skyline emoji. All in all, a ruff start but an unforgettable day with the besties. If you’re ever in NYC on a sunny day, we highly recommend Brooklyn Bridge Bark (you had to be there).
